Organizational
Transformation
Intro
Organizational transformation is not the same as organizational change. Change can be imposed. Transformation must be lived. This free introduction gives you the conceptual and practical foundations to begin thinking — and leading — differently.
Organizational transformation is not the same as organizational change. Change can be imposed — through policy, restructure, or directive. Transformation requires something different: a shift in how the organization understands itself, how it relates to power and purpose, and how it moves through the world.
Designed to be completed in a single afternoon or across a few sessions, this course is an ideal starting point before engaging with any of YFE Studios' deeper offerings in leadership, facilitation, or organizational systems.
Understand the foundations of sustainable organizational change — through deep listening, systems thinking, and justice frameworks. A free introduction for anyone new to transformation work.
Why equity and justice are not additions to transformation — they are central to it.
Organizational transformation that does not interrogate power, access, and equity produces change that preserves existing hierarchies under new language. Module 4 grounds transformation work in justice frameworks — not as an optional addition, but as a structural prerequisite for sustainable change.
- Articulate the difference between surface-level change and deep organizational transformation
- Understand how systems thinking applies to organizational challenges
- Apply deep listening as an organizational intelligence practice
- Identify where justice frameworks are relevant to transformation work
- Locate yourself in your organization's transformation journey
